Having been involved in engine restoration projects from the 1890″s to the most current engines, we have enjoyed restoring hundreds of engines from every decade. Whether we have to source the rarest of part from around the world or custom make/retro-fit parts to adapt or improve the original design, we strive to always improve the original engine to be better than when new.
We are able to co-ordinate all of your white-metalling bearing needs, or custom modify the engine to accept modern bearing shells where appropriate. Care must be taken with some materials becoming fragile with age, hence we often provide re-threading of damaged threads to ensure correct clamping loads of fasteners are able to be obtained.
